"It's pretty much just camping for now," he said. READ MORE: "Hard roof accommodation will be reopening from January 1 but we don't yet have an estimate for when the caves or walking tracks will be reopened." All camp sites need to be pre-booked by calling 1300 072 757 or through the NPWS National Parks website. The walking tracks remain closed due to extensive fire and flood damage. Travel access to the park also remains limited at present. The final section of road between Langs Rd and Wombeyan Caves is closed for roadworks. The park can be accessed by the Langs Rd detour. The closed section of road is expected to reopen on December 21. We depend on subscription revenue to support our journalism. If you are able, please subscribe here.
