A Lismore man who was initially adamant he hadn't won a cent in a recent Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw has had his morning turned upside down after realising he'd actually won more than $1 million.
The Lismore resident held one of the two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4176 on Monday April 25 and took home $1,006,576.45.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the elated winner confessed he didn't think he'd won anything when he first checked his ticket after the draw .
"Holy mackerel!" he yelled.
"I can't believe this. I checked my ticket after the draw but obviously didn't look closely enough.
"Mate, I am currently shaking like a leaf.
"You dream of winning your whole life, and then for it to actually happen, it's mind-blowing.
"Thank you so much for the good news!
"I can't wait to share it with my children and have some security for the rest of my life."
The Lismore man's life-enhancing System 8 QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4176 on Monday April 25 were 23, 1, 19, 16, 40, 43, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 38.
