FOUR Northern Rivers players have been selected in the NSW Country Rugby League team for upcoming representative matches.
Ballina fullback Oliver Regan will be joined by Murwillumbah five-eighth Toby McIntosh and Cudgen brothers Caleb and Connor Ziebell.
The quartet will line up for the New South Wales City v Country clash at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney next weekend.
They were all part of the Northern Rivers squad who reached the final of the NSW Country Championships last month.
Regan was the highest point scorer in the competition with six tries and 23 conversions to his name.
He and McIntosh have both played Queensland Cup in the past while Connor Ziebell is playing senior representative football for the first time.
His older brother Caleb is a former NSW Country rugby league Player of the Year award winner in 2018.
Northern Rivers were crowned champions at NSW Country under-23 level that season.
The team will go into camp next week and will be coached for former Canberra Raiders five-eighth Terry Campese.
Regan is currently playing with Bilambil in Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League having won premierships at Ballina in 2017 and 2020.
Meanwhile, three Northern Rivers players have been selected in the NSW Country under-16 team.
Halfback, Zane Harrison, fullback Harry Chadburn and second-rower Riley Buchanan were all part of the team who won the final in the Andrew Johns Cup.
