Police have released CCTV images of a ram-raid on a tobacconist shop in a bid to identify the culprits.

The footage from November 18 shows a white Dodge Ram with no number plates drive into a carpark and reverse through the front doors of the smoke shop in Upper Coomera near the Gold Coast's theme park district.

"Extensive damage" was caused to the front of the business, Queensland Police said.
