Bunnings Lismore manager Chris Randell thanked the community for its patience as the store re-opens this Saturday after the floods.
"We know that this has been such a challenging time for the Lismore community, and we thank them for their patience while we worked through the clean-up efforts and the repairs to re-open our Lismore store," he said.
"A big thank you goes to our Lismore team, who supported nearby stores and assisted customers at the temporary Lismore pop-up store during this time.
"The team are now back on-site re-merchandising the shelves with products and making sure that the store is ready to welcome customers back this coming weekend. The Lismore warehouse will continue to have all the features that customers are familiar with, as well as a refreshed layout to provide customers an even better shopping experience.
"We're loving finally being back together as a team and we're really looking forward to re-connecting with the Lismore locals, helping them to access the products they need," Chris said.
While the Lismore store has been temporarily closed, teams of specialists have worked to ensure the building is hygienically and structurally safe. Any damage that was caused has been repaired, with some amenities rebuilt, such as the in-store café, and customer and team facilities.
The Lismore team remain focused on looking after any team who have been personally impacted by the devastating floods, and will continue to provide support to community organisations and emergency services with their recovery efforts, wherever they can.
