Orginal story: Lismore is currently experiencing a power outage that is affecting residents and business owners across the region.

"The estimated time for safe restoration of the power outage is unknown," a spokesperson from Essential Energy said.
"Our crews are on-site and are assessing damage to underground assets. Once the fault has been found we will provide an update on when," they said.
