The club was successful across the board this year.
The women's tackle side were the inaugural premiers and the men's first grade had a successful finals campaign until they suffered a loss to the Cudgen Hornets.
Earlier this year we spoke with former club president, Djaan Jarret, who said one of reasons behind Northern United's success was their depth, with both young and experienced players playing to a high standard.
"We have utilised our under 18s for three games this year as a reward for their hard work and they all scored tries on debut," he said.
"There's a good balance of older guys who share their experience with the younger players but the young guys keep the older fellas on their feet."
In the upcoming 2024 season, they are looking to continue on with this approach and have resigned their key players.
The team includes: Raymond Buchanan, Timothy Torrens, James Torrens, Jerrod See, Allan Mckenzie, Desmond Ferguson, Jirra Breckenridge, Djaan Jarrett, Anthony Thompson, Damon Caldwell, Theo Hippi, Jamahl Roberts and Hezekiah Mckenzie.
Djaan Jarret attributed the success of the club not only to new team members but a culture shift that occurred three years ago.
This shift saw the club increase its level of professionalism and discipline towards the way they approached games, and its impact was noticeable.
With a solid team and strong culture, 2024 will be an exciting year for united.
