Defending premiers Goonellabah Workers Sports are in first place on 34 points while Marist Brothers are second on 22 points.
The Casino RSM Cavaliers are also on 22 points while Cudgen rounds out the top four on 19 points.
Goonellabah Workers (186) had a 47-run win over the Cavaliers (139) on December 9.
Will Brown took four wickets in a match which was reduced to a one-day after issues with the pitch the previous weekend.
They were crowned 2022-2023 premiers after a win over perennial champions Cudgen.
They have retained plenty of experience in the top order with Andrew Kemmis and Kale Hare going around again.
Damien Santin has led the way with the bat this season having already scored 210 runs.
Meanwhile, Marist Brothers (5-138) have been consistent and signalled its intentions with a five-wicket win over Cudgen (136).
They also had a 93-run win in the local derby against Goonellabah Workers.
All-rounder Kaleb Auld has formed a potent bowling attack alongside Connor Lord, Jeremy Perkins and spearhead Brendan Mitchell.
Brothers will host Ballina Bears and Pottsville in Twenty20 games at Mortimer Oval on December 16.
Goonellabah Workers have a bye.
The competition will break before another round of T20 games on January 6.
