A STRONG bowling attack has Marist Brothers primed for the semi-finals in Far North Coast LJ Hooker League cricket.

Captain Brendan Mitchell has taken 18 wickets this season while Jeremy Perkins and Connor Lord have taken 15 apiece.
Brothers made light work of a struggling Murwillumbah side in its latest win.
The win has them 11 points clear of Cudgen in second spot with one round remaining.
They bowled Murwillumbah out for a paltry 85 in a game reduced to a one-dayer at Mortimer Oval on the weekend.
It took them just 16 overs to chase down the total with all-rounder Kaleb Auld top-scoring with 33 runs in the six-wicket win.
Brothers will head to Ballina this weekend where they will take on Tintenbar-East Ballina at Kingsford Smith Park.
'The Bar are in fifth spot and equal on competition points with the Casino RSM Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers defeated them by 35 runs in the last round which could be enough to see them hold fourth.
Meanwhile, defending premiers Goonellabah Workers Sports are in the box seat after a six-wicket win over Cudgen.
Workers are 10 points clear on top of the ladder and will enjoy a bye before they host a semi-final in a fortnight.
They have built a premiership-winning team around a strong top order and bat deep into the tail end.
Fast bowler Josh Healy is their leading wicket-taker having claimed 21 scalps this season with spinner Ryan Kernaghan second (17) and Damien Santin with the third most (16).
Santin is also the leading run-scorer in the side having scored 233 runs.
Top-order batsman Ben Cooper is second with 187 which included a century against Ballina Bears while Healy is third with 161 runs.
All-rounder Kale Hare has had another decent season with 130 runs and seven wickets to his name. The semi-finals will be held on March 16-17 with the final the following weekend.
