There's something magical happening around the region.
Hidden away at secret locations around the region, the enigmatic Talulah Rae is setting the scene for a series of unforgettable events called Carnivale of the Mysteries of the Soul.
Described as a "meticulously crafted immersive theatre three course plant-based dining experience", Carnivale of the Mysteries of the Soul promises an experience like no other.
There will be an escape room-like experience.
"It will be a great experience. I'm confident everyone will have a great time.
"It's designed along the Kabala Tree of Life. Everybody comes as one of the tarot cards. So everyone comes as an archetype that they're asked to embody throughout the night. Everybody has a riddle that they need to solve throughout the night to move through the game. Everyone has a conspiring that they have to play out, which are like parlour games really. I love them. They are so good.
"Because every event is different with a different consellation of people, it's an entirely different experience."
Talulah says it gives people license "to play and be ridiculous".
"It's sometimes difficult for adults to let their guard down. But everyone is participating. It's a lot of fun."
Talulah says her activities are designed to bring people together after events such as the flood and pandemic.
You can catch a glimpse of the magic at Otherworld in Byron Bay, where Talulah has two installations - The Land of Make Believe, inspired by travelling theatres and the paper moons, and mirror dromes.
Events will be held at secret locations across the region - within 20 minutes of Byron Bay and Lismore - on April 27, May 25, June 22, July 26. The locations will be revealed when booking.
